Left at 8:45. Stopped at Elliot for fuel. Lake off road shown on postcards. Called at Newcastle Waters. Park to commemorate the drovers and famous cattle droves across the country. Continued on to Daly Waters. 1st pub in Australia offering beef and barramundi bit dfferent from last night. We should have staye here. On to Katherine arrived about 1:30pm. Camped at Riverview Caravan park, quite early, time to clean, organise and wash.
